Zhanna Dombrovskaya (Soprano)
Zhanna Dombrovskaya was born in Pyatigorsk. Graduated from the St Petersburg
State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Professor Svetlana Gorenkova) and
the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers in 2000. Soloist with the St Petersburg
State Musorgsky Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet from 2001–2003. Mariinsky
Theatre soloist since 2003.

traviata), Donna Anna, Fiordiligi (Cosм fan tutte), Concepciуn
(L'Heure espagnole) and the soprano parts in Stravinsky's cantata
Les Noces, Orff's Carmina Burana, Bach's
Johannespassion and Handel's Judas Maccabaeus.
Zhanna Dombrovskaya has toured to New York (Metropolitan Opera), Rome, Madrid
(Orquesta Philharmonic), Moscow (Bolshoi Theatre) and Baden-Baden as well as to
cities throughout Germany, South Korea, Italy, Japan and Switzerland. She has
taken part in master classes with Renata Scotto (Accademia di Santa Cecilia,
Rome, 2004; Operatic Academy of Westchester Conservatoire, New York, 2005). She
has a busy concert schedule of solo concerts in cities throughout Russia.
