Tatyana Pechnikova (Soprano)
Tatyana Pechnikova (soprano) graduated from the Gnessins Academy of Music (under Professor Obolenskaya) in 1998.
In 1999, Tatyana Pechnikova joined the Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow, where she has performed leading parts such as Lyudmila in Glinka’s Ruslan and Lyudmila, Tatyana in Eugene Onegin and Iolanta in Iolanta by Tchaikovsky, Kupava in The Snow Maiden and Marfa in The Tsar’s Bride by Rimsky-Korsakov, Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflцte, Norma in Bellini’s Norma, Leila in Bizet’s Les Pecheurs de Perles, Lucrezia in I Due Foscari, and Violetta in La Traviata by Verdi, Nedda in Leoncavallo’s I Pagliacci, soprano parts in the productions “Welsh Songs”, “Polovtsian Dances”, “Rossini”, “Bravissimo!”, “Viva Verdi!”, “Maria Callas”, “Music Is My Soul”, “Opera@Jazz”, and in Verdi’s Requiem.
The singer extensively tours in Russia and abroad. Her repertoire includes famous opera arias by Russian and foreign composers.
In 2006, Tatyana Pechnikova won First Prize at the international forum “Music and Pedagogics” in Helsinki (Finland), also is a laureate of Russian Musical premium “Casta Diva” (2006), a laureate of National theatre premium “Golden Mask” in nomination : “Opera- women role” ( Norma in Bellini’s Norma 2007).
