Alexey Lyubimov (Dancer)

Graduated from the Perm State Ballet School in 1999 and joined the Stanislavsky Ballet company in 2000.

Parts performed in the Stanislavsky Ballet productions include: Prince Siegfried (“Swan Lake” in choreography by V. Burmeister), Danila (“The Stone Flower” in choreography by Y. Grigorovich), Prince (“Cinderella” in choreography by O. Vinogradov), Treplev (“The Seagull” in choreography by J. Neumeier), Prince (“The Little Mermaid” in choreography by J. Neumeier), Paris (“Romeo and Juliet”), soloist (“Petite Mort”, “Six Dances”, “Wings of Wax”, “Sleepless” in choreography by Jiří Kylián; “Na Floresta”, “Por Vos Muero” by N. Duato; “Slice to Sharp” by J. Elo; “Illusive ball” in choreography by D. Bryantsev), Lescaut (“Manon” in choreography by K. McMillan), Hungarian Officer (“Mayerling” in choreography by K. McMillan), Eugene Onegin, Prince N. (“Tatjana” in choreography by J. Neumeier).

Alexey Lyubimov is the only soloist in the Company to have been chosen for the leading part in all three John Neumeier’s productions with the Stanislavsky Ballet: “The Seagull” (2007), “The Little Mermaid” (2011) and “Tatjana” (2014). As a guest soloist with other companies he performed the parts of Ivan in “Ivan the Terrible”, Nutcracker Prince in “The Nutcracker”, Tybalt in “Romeo and Juliet”, etc.

Took part in the international tours of the Stanislavsky Ballet Company.
