Ekaterina Morozova (Soprano)
Biography
Graduated from the Shebalin School of Music in Omsk and from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Evgenia Gorokhovskaya).
In 2012-14 she was a soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers. Has taken part in Academy concerts with Larisa Gergieva in Russia (Ekaterinburg and Kazan) and abroad (Italy, France, Germany, Great Britain) as well as the festival Larisa Gergieva Invites (Vladikavkaz).
Repertoire at the Mariinsky Theatre includedd: First Lady (Die Zauberflöte) and the Countess Ceprano (Rigoletto)
Repertoire also includes: Olga (Fedora), Iolanta (Iolanta), Tatiana (Eugene Onegin).
Frequently performs in recital.
In 2014 she took part in the production of Cosi fan tutte at the Bolshoi Theatre, singing the role of Fiordiligi. In 2014 she joined the Young Artist Program of the Bolshoi Theatre. She toured with the Young Artist Program in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
