"Imperial Russian Ballet" company was created in April of 1994 by soloist of Bolshoi Theatre

Gedeminas Taranda and soloist of Igor Moiseyev‘ Folk Dance company Nikolai Anokhine on an iniciative of famouse russian ballerina Maija Plisetzkaya. She became a Honorable President of the company.
The company consist of 40 artists from the best ballet schools of Russia: Moscow, Sankt Petersburg and Perm. Many famouse Russian Ballet Stars cooperated with the company. Among them there are soloists of Bolshoi- Liudmila Semeniaka, E.Andriyenko, N.Pavlova, Yuri Posokhov (San Fransisco Ballet), T.Chernobrovkina and D. Zababurin (Stanislavsky Theatre Ballet), Patric Dupont (Grand Opera), Kumakawa (Covent Garden), M.Kulik, F.Ruzhimatov, L.Kunakova, V. Samodurov (Maryinsky Theatre), A.Ratmansky, J.Aiupova and many others.
The artists of the company increase their skills under famouse ballet teachers: A. Bondarenko, E.Vlasova, A. Kudelin, N. Osipian. "Imperial Russian Ballet" company is a member of European Cultural Center in Moscow under patronize of European Parliament. Gedeminas Taranda is one of the founders of European Cultural Center.

The company toured in many countries: 1994 - Japan, Spain, Austria.
1995 - Finland, Japan, Portugal, Austria.
1996 - Brazil, Spain, Finland, Japan, Uruguay, Austria, Germany.
1997 - Spain, France, Japan, Uruguay, Finland, Germany, Italy.
1998 - France, Spain, Japan, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Luxemburg, Lithuania, Germany.
1999 - Germany (March), Spain (April - May), Israel (15-27 of June), Japan (July), Lithuania (August), Finland (1 -7 of October).
