Vladimir Selivohin (Piano soloist)
Vladimir Selivohin (1946) - the pupil of the Moscow state conservatory on a class of an outstanding pianist and the teacher, professor L.N.Oborina (under its management the pianist in 1971 has ended postgraduate study). The brilliant victory and triumphal success at the International competition of a name of F.Buzoni in 1968 in Bolzano (Italy) have involved to Selivohin attention of musical criticism and a wide audience.
V.Selivohina‘s game to which concentration is peculiar, restraint of feelings, absence of an external airs, always leaves strong impression - technical perfection of the executor is constantly directed on deeper and truthful disclosing of the musical image, fuller transfer of an author‘s plan.
Its solo concert programs amaze with the breadth, variety: Bach, Scarlatti, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schuman, the Leaf, Chopin, Ravel, Tchaikovsky, Rakhmaninov, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Ovchinnikov... In V.Selivohina‘s repertoir and ancient harpsichord music - Bach, Handel, Berezovsky. In 1999 to Vladimir Selivohin the honorary title of the National actor of Russia is appropriated.
