Graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School in 2000 with a specialization in "Costume Design and Technology".
Worked as an art technologist in the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre (1997-2000).
As a costume designer, has worked on thе following films: Russian Game by Pavel Chukhray, Brothers Karamazov by Yuri Moroz, Elysium by Andrei Eshpai, Pechorin by Roman Khrushch (for this film Dmitry Andreev was awarded the Best Costume Design Atlas Awards in 2016), Heart's Boomerang by Nikolai Khomeriki, Three Women of Dostoevsky by Evgeny Tashkov, White Tiger by Karen Shakhnazarov, In Search of Adventure by Yuri Moroz, The Bottomless Bag by Rustam Khamdamov, Demons by Vladimir Khotinenko, Orleans by Andrei Proshkin, Heirs by Vladimir Khotinenko, Anna Karenina. The story of Vronsky by Karen Shakhnazarov (for this work Dmitry Andreev was awarded an honorary diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts), Paradise by Andrei Konchalovsky (the film was awarded the prize of the 50th Hof International Film Festival in 2016), The Sin by Andrei Konchalovsky, Indestructible by Konstantin Maximov.
Has published a number of research articles on the history of costume in the Atelier magazine.
